30-day returns · Limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship

Limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship.

We make our brushes and palettes to last, and we stand behind them. If something goes wrong because of how it was made, we'll put it right.

Covered: defects in workmanship during the product's normal working life, such as paint flaking off a handle after a few sessions, hairs coming loose from the ferrule, or bristles bent on arrival.

Not covered: normal wear (a fine tip wears with painting), misuse and accidents.

Check new brushes and palettes when they arrive and register them straight away: workmanship defects usually show in the first few sessions.

How to claim: email support@dartisanshoppe.com with your order number and a photo, and a member of the family will reply.

30-day returns

If you're not happy with your order, email support@dartisanshoppe.com within 30 days of purchase, whether the product is new or used. We'll send you a return number (RMA) and the return address. Return postage is yours to pay, and we recommend a tracked service.

Once your return arrives, we refund the product price (shipping and handling aren't refundable). Processing takes about a week, and your bank may take up to 7 more business days. Full details are in our refund policy.

To keep a fine point longer: rinse as you work, reshape the tip, cap it, and dry it flat. Don't store brushes tip-down or wet.

Paint that's still ready tomorrow. Acrylics skin over in minutes on a dry palette. The hydration tray feeds water up through a grey sponge and palette sheet, and the gasketed lid seals it in, so mixes stay workable for days between sessions.

See the colour you're mixing. White foam glares, so colours look lighter than they paint. The neutral grey sponge under the sheet keeps values true for skin tones, glazes, and smooth blends.

Blend on the hydration tray; keep washes, inks, and metallics in 16 sloped wells, rinse from 2 water wells, and park brushes in the holder. It all stacks into one unit, 8.6 x 6.2 x 1.5 in (21.8 x 15.7 x 3.7 cm), held by a safety strap, sized for a kitchen table or a small hobby desk.

Size:  8.6 x 6.2 x 1.5 in (21.8 x 15.7 x 3.7 cm)
Wells:  16 dry wells, 2 water wells, brush holder
Paints: Water-based acrylic, gouache, watercolour

Set up in a minute, even as a beginner. Soak the sponge, squeeze until it stops dripping, lay a sheet on top, and smooth it flat from the centre out. Add a few drops when the sheet looks dull.

Pro care, no surprises. Acrylic sets hard on any plastic, so rinse the dry wells before the paint dries, or soak them for 10 minutes in warm, soapy water to lift dried paint. Cellulose sponges firm up and curve as they dry, then lie flat again once rewetted.
