⚙️ How to Use Your WetNDri Plus

First Time Setup:

1. Rinse the sponge thoroughly before first use to remove any residue. The sponge will expand to fill the tray.
2. Saturate the sponge by placing it in the tray with distilled or purified water until fully saturated. You can use the top (cover) as a wet palette or as a dry palette for additional mixing space.
3. Prepare the paper: Once the sponge is fully saturated, tip out most of the water from the tray. Wet your precut paper before placing it onto the sponge, and smooth the paper if necessary. The paper will flatten out when fully wet. Ensure the paper is completely flat with no bubbles or dry spots. Wipe off excess moisture using a paper towel/soft cloth from the paper surface. Excess water on the paper surface and the sponge will cause your paint to dilute and spread out.
4. Start painting: Place some paint on the paper and mix/blend directly to start your painting session. Some paint brands will split or get too watery if absorbing too much liquid due to humidity. If this happens, you may choose to leave the trays slightly ajar (this is the characteristic of some paint brands). On the other hand, if your paint is too dry the next day, keep the lids tightly closed using the elastic band and just add a bit of water to revive your paint.

💡 Pro Tips for Best Results:

• Use distilled water — Different temperatures and humidity may cause water to evaporate, so keep a dropper bottle of water to rehydrate your sponge periodically
• Press down dry spots — Tip the tray back and forth gently to distribute water evenly. Press down any dry spots on the paper onto the sponge using your fingers
• Keep lid closed tightly when not painting — Leaving the tray opened will make the water evaporate quickly, leading to your paints drying out
• For transport: Tip out all excess water from the tray and keep palette flat at all times
• When not in use: Allow the sponge to dry. Simply rewet the sponge and follow the same instructions above to use it again. Drain and clean your trays occasionally to prevent mold or mildew from forming
